The Start of Something Beautiful

Blanc Type // Satin Taupe // Woodwinked

I was very lucky to get a big MAC palette for Christmas and 3 beautiful shadows. Natural, non harsh and easy to wear and blend shades, that will be applicable and appropriate for any event.

Blanc Type // a very pale, chalky pink. Matte and smooth it is nice to use all over the lid and with a lighter brown shade in the outer corner. It is a nice shade for a no makeup natural makeup look.

Satin Taupe // a shimmery, metallic brown. Easy to blend out in the crease or a light sweep over the whole lid makes it very pretty, especially with a light pink lip.

Woodwinked // shimmery and metallic like satin taupe but the shade is a light copper/bronze. Lovely over the whole lid and blended into crease and outer eye, it looks like two colours when blended. It will look great on holiday with a white dress or top, with a little bronzer and gold accessories and sandals you will look like a bronzed goddess.

What's your favourite MAC eye shadows? Do you have any of these? What was your first?

  1. Satin Taupe looks gorgeous, I might have to add it to my palette. I already have Woodwinked and love that too.
